I have tried to capture what might have been some of the thinking of Bartimaeus, when he called out to Jesus to heal him, as Jesus passed through Jericho on His way to Jerusalem.
I would like the song to have the musical feel of a caravan passing through town with percussive and stringed instruments, and flutes playing along, within my own imagined Middle Eastern musical context, as the group moves forward. A mountain dulcimer is the foundational instrument on the song.
