AN INTRODUCTION

I plan to begin this blog during the first week of April. My plans are to post a new song at the beginning of each month and thereafter through the month to make additional postings related to the song. The objective of these posts will be to relate the song to prominent bible passages that the song applies to, or reflects upon.

There will be a wide range of ideas discussed and many of the songs will be overtly Christian in emphasis, while others are intended to get conversations started about issues that are important to contemporary life.

I have posted the instrument track for my song “The Blind Man”, which imagines a part of the story from the perspective of Blind Bartimaeus, the blind man Jesus healed at the town of Jericho. The musical instrument driving this song is the mountain dulcimer.
