This song is about one of my favorite people in the New Testament. The Gadarene demoniac. A man so incredibly tormented by demons that his behavior was that of a raging lunatic. All three synoptic Gospels tell of the account when Jesus met this man. His life was changed by the power of the spoken word of Jesus. And this man was put into his right mind. Jesus told him to go home to his relatives and tell them how much the Lord had done for him. The Gospel of Mark in chapter 5, verse 20 says, “And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him, and everyone marveled.”
